Content, Acceptable-Use Policy & EULA

Effective: 10 August 2026 · Last updated: 27 August 2026

Sellers publish shops, listings and images on YENTTO, and customers post reviews with ratings, text and photos. This policy sets the rules for that content and how we keep it clean, and it includes the app’s End User License Agreement.

This page describes YENTTO as set out in our product documentation. It is written to be accurate and kept-able — we do not make claims we cannot honour. For anything not covered here, contact support@yentto.com.

1.Why this policy exists

A clean, trustworthy marketplace is YENTTO’s product. Clear rules — and fast removal of bad content and bad actors — are how we keep it that way.

2.Where it applies

This policy applies to all content published on YENTTO: the shop names, product listings, descriptions and images that sellers publish, and the reviews — star ratings, text and photos — that customers post for shops and products they have actually purchased from. (YENTTO has no in-app chat. Customers and sellers who exchange contact details for an order talk by phone or WhatsApp outside YENTTO — we cannot moderate those conversations, but misuse of contact details obtained through YENTTO is still a breach of our terms; report it under section 7 and we act under section 8.)

3.Content is reviewed before it goes live

Seller listings and images are checked and approved by our Admin team before they appear to customers. Customer review text and photos are likewise held for admin approval before they are displayed; a star-only rating (with no text or photos) is published immediately. This pre-publication review is our primary filter against objectionable or misleading content — only content that meets our standards is published.

4.Be honest and accurate

Publish only content that is truthful and your own. Listings must accurately describe what is sold, with real prices and honest images, and you must hold the rights to everything you upload.

5.Content that is not allowed

  • Illegal goods/services, or anything you’re not permitted to sell.
  • Hateful, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory content.
  • Sexually explicit content, or any content that exploits or endangers minors.
  • Violent, graphic, or otherwise objectionable content.
  • False, deceptive, or fraudulent claims; fake scarcity or invented discounts.
  • Spam, scams, malware, or attempts to move transactions off-platform to evade protections.
  • Infringing content, or someone else’s personal data posted without a lawful basis.

Prohibited & restricted items

These may not be listed on YENTTO in any category. The list is not exhaustive — anything unlawful, or anything requiring a licence the seller does not hold, is prohibited whether or not it appears here.

  • Weapons, ammunition, explosives and their components.
  • Drugs, narcotics, psychotropic substances and related paraphernalia.
  • Tobacco products and alcohol.
  • Prescription medicines, and medical devices requiring a prescription or registration.
  • Pesticides, solvents, corrosives and hazardous chemicals.
  • Live animals, and animal parts including hides, teeth, bone and shell.
  • Counterfeit and replica goods, and anything infringing a trade mark or copyright.
  • Currency, financial instruments, and precious metals in bullion form.
  • Adult content and services.
  • Lottery tickets, betting and gambling of any kind.
  • Stolen goods, and goods whose lawful origin the seller cannot evidence.
  • Anything requiring a licence, permit or registration the seller does not hold.

Dark patterns

Dark patterns as defined in the CCPA Guidelines for Prevention and Regulation of Dark Patterns, 2023 — including false urgency, basket sneaking, drip pricing, bait and switch, forced action, subscription traps and disguised advertising — are prohibited on every YENTTO surface.

Claims about charges

Do not state or imply that no charges apply at checkout. YENTTO’s platform fee and payment handling fee are shown to the customer in the order summary (see Fees), and listing copy must not contradict them.

Listing disclosures

For packaged goods, each listing must show the declarations required by the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011 — the name and address of the manufacturer, packer or importer, the country of origin, net quantity, the maximum retail price inclusive of all taxes, consumer-care contact details, and the date of manufacture or packing. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of these declarations. Food sellers must display their FSSAI licence number.

6.Reviews & ratings

Customers can review a shop or product they have actually ordered from — a star rating, and optionally text and up to three photos. Reviews must reflect your genuine experience. Don’t post paid, fake, or retaliatory reviews, don’t include other people’s personal information in them, and sellers must not review their own shops. Review text and photos are checked by our moderation team before they appear; we remove manipulated or policy-breaking reviews and may act against the accounts behind them.

7.Report a shop, listing or review

If you see a listing, shop or review that breaks these rules, report it: use the report option on it, or contact us at support@yentto.com. Reports reach our moderation team, who can remove the content and act against the seller. Removing a listing or unpublishing a shop is handled by our Admin team.

8.How we act on content

We aim to review reports promptly and act within 24 hours on serious or objectionable content by removing it and, where warranted, removing the seller. Action ranges from removing content to warning, limiting, or removing the account, on the same graduated, intent- and frequency-based basis as our Trust & Safety standards.

9.End User License Agreement (EULA)

YENTTO grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the YENTTO apps for their intended purpose, subject to these policies and our Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the apps, or use them unlawfully. The apps and all related rights remain owned by YENTTO and its licensors. This licence ends if you stop using YENTTO or breach these terms. The apps are provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law.

App stores. This EULA and our Terms are between you and YENTTO only — not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the apps or their content, and provide no warranty or support for them. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce it against you. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a relevant embargo and are not on a prohibited-parties list, and you agree to comply with the app stores’ own terms of service.

10.No tolerance for objectionable content & abusive users

YENTTO has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. By using the apps you agree there is no tolerance for it, that we may remove such content and the accounts responsible, and that we will act on reports promptly. This applies to sellers and customers alike.

11.Changes

We may update this policy; the current version lives here.
